Training & Instruction
Ice House Availability + Stick and Puck
The St. James Ice House is available for Stick and Puck to all ages.
- Monday - Friday: 10:30 AM-12:00 PM, Fridays are Complimentary for Members
- Holiday and Weekend hours may vary please check the reservation system before arriving to the complex
Note: All Stick N' Puck participants are required to show proof of payment to our attendant down at the Ice House prior to stepping on the ice. If you pay at the front desk upon arrival, please request a receipt as that is your proof of payment.

Hockey Camps
Hockey Summer Camp
The St. James Ice Hockey Camp offers young athletes a unique opportunity to develop their skills in a state-of-the-art facility with two NHL-sized rinks. Campers will receive expert instruction tailored to their level, from improving skating techniques to enhancing stick handling and endurance. With on-ice training sessions and exciting off-ice activities, this camp balances focused skill-building with fun, encouraging teamwork and athletic growth for players of all experience levels.

Learn to Play Hockey Camp
Designed for beginners, The St. James Learn to Play Ice Hockey Camp covers all the basics, from skating and stickhandling to passing and shooting. Guided by our professional coaching staff, campers will develop foundational skills and confidence as they kickstart their hockey journey. In addition to on-ice training, campers will enjoy a variety of off-ice team building activities and fun games and like soccer and dodgeball, creating an unforgettable summer camp experience
Head to toe hockey equipment is required for the learn-to-play camp.

The STJ Girls hockey camp is coached primarily by current and former NCAA & ACHA female athletes to ensure the best possible experience for your hockey player to develop their game.

Hockey Goalie Camp
The St. James Ice Hockey Goalie Camp offers specialized training on essential techniques with expert goaltending coaches, tailored to elevate each player's skills in the net. Through high-intensity drills and game-like scenarios, participants will practice saves under pressure, refine their reaction times, and build confidence in their game sense.

School's Out Day Camps
We know how difficult it is to find suitable care for your children on student holidays. The St. James has you covered with our new Ultimate Sports & Adventure Day Camp! A wide range of sports and activities, your child will get to explore lots of new games and adventures. Campers will have the chance to compete in our fieldhouse, try out their skills in our courthouse, and explore their digital and creative side in our Super Awesome & Amazing facility.

The St. James Hockey Travel Club (Fall & Winter)
Find hockey programs for kids, teens, and adults at The STJ Hockey Club. We combine a highly competitive spirit with a supportive learning environment for maximized skill development.
Our youth hockey programs focus on mentoring players to excel on and off the ice. Through intensive on- and off-ice training, athletes learn the fundamentals of hockey, develop their athletic abilities, and build confidence under the professional guidance of dedicated coaches and staff. Our youth hockey clubs teach valuable competition play and mentality.
Strivers Hockey Club (Spring & Summer)
Strivers Hockey is the premier tier II spring & summer tournament team program in the DMV. Our flexible format offers participants one power skating & skills intensive practice per week combined with multiple tournament options per age group and level. Strivers Hockey offers families the ability to design an off-season that meets their individual needs.
Private Hockey Lessons
Go one-on-one with an STJ hockey coach to work on your skating, shooting, or stamina. We offer specialized private and semi-private hockey lessons for players and goalies that hone in on the specific skills needed for each position. Hockey lessons are one hour and scheduled based on ice and coach availability.

Ice Hockey at The St. James
