Cheer Camps
Cheer, Tumbling, & Dance Combo Summer Camps
The St. James Cheer, Tumbling, and Dance Camp provides an exciting, supportive space for campers to enhance their skills and build team spirit. Led by certified coaches, participants of all experience levels will learn essential cheer techniques, tumbling, and fun dance routines, with a focus on fundamentals, safety, and personal growth. Campers will develop strength and confidence as they practice jumps, stunts, and choreography, culminating each week in a performance for family and friends.

Cheer Clinics
School Cheer Clinic w/ Premier Choreography
The St. James is thrilled to partner with Premier Choreography, a team of coaches with over 40 wins last season in VHSL Competitive Cheer, to help rising middle and high school athletes get ready for their cheerleading tryouts. This is your chance to learn from the best, with expert coaching and hands-on training from top-tier instructors.

Stunting Clinics
Elevate your cheerleading skills with our Stunting Clinics! Ready to take your stunting to the next level? Join us for an exciting opportunity to refine your skills and build confidence in a fun, supportive environment! Led by Coach Blake Whetzel, these clinics are tailored for middle and high school students with basic cheerleading experience.

House Cheer
Cheer isn’t just on the sidelines—it’s at the center of confidence, character, and community. At The St. James Cheer, we build more than just routines. We shape strong, disciplined athletes who shine with spirit and skill—on and off the mat.
House Cheer Program
Our House Cheer program is the perfect low-stress introduction to the exciting world of cheerleading and lays the foundation for potentially joining our award-winning All-Star teams. Youth athletes will learn fundamental cheer techniques while developing flexibility, coordination, strength, and confidence in a fun, supportive environment.

- Ongoing enrollment (prorated based on start date)
All-Star Cheer
The St. James All-Stars is a D2 program with a level-1 youth and level-2 junior elite team. This discipline of cheer involves competitive routines composed of tumbling, stunting, pyramids, dance, and cheer. Its primary focus is competition.
Cheer Curriculum
- 60-minute Tumbling Class 1x week
- 80-minute Cheer & Stunting Class 1x week
- 45-minute end-of-the-season performance with awards
- 60-minute beginning of the season kick-off clinic/orientation
- STJ practice gear included
- Cheer shoes are required but not included
Cheer for STJ
Cheer's not for the sidelines – it's right in the spotlight. The St. James cheer program builds bodies, minds, and a community by honing in on grit and flair for the ultimate squad of athlete-performers standing shoulder-to-shoulder proudly.
With a caring coaching foundation as unbreakable as a liberty lift, our youth cheer lessons will instill skill development and proper technique to maximize flexibility, coordination, and strength. Cheerleaders will be free to learn, grow, stumble, and realize their dreams – no matter the level of cheer, each athlete will be set up for success.
Youth Cheer Program Highlights Feature:
- Season kick-off clinic/orientation
- A three-month season with personal instruction for rising 4th through 8th-grade students with athletes allocated by tumbling/stunting skill level and age
- Additional classes to evolve tumbling skills
- Custom camps and clinics featuring dance and cheer lessons, nutrition, Core-Flex, and guest star instructors
- 10,000 square feet of gymnastics equipment with a dedicated competition spring floor
- Deep foam training pits, TumblTrak, and training equipment
- Access to an onsite trainer and medical response team
- End of the season performance
