The St. James youth lacrosse program in Springfield, VA offers maximum opportunities for current and aspiring lacrosse players in the DC Metro area to perform at their peak. Professional lacrosse is coming to Maryland! The St. James is thrilled to announce our partnership with the Maryland Whipsnakes.
The goal of our partnership is to establish community-driven, Whipsnakes-branded programming – focused on grassroots participation, access to the sport, and relationship building between the Maryland Whipsnakes, and the DMV's next generation of lacrosse players.

PLL Maryland Whipsnakes Summer Camps
These camps will help beginner, intermediate, and experienced players develop their skills and take their game to the next level with elite technical training and game knowledge development. The curriculum is tailored to maximize small group instruction, station-based position-specific instruction, and game-like competition to teach and reinforce skills. All players will receive a Maryland Whipsakes uniform!

Lacrosse Summer Camp @ Stone Ridge School
Join us for our ELITE summer camp! This camp is open to players of all levels. Players in grades K-8 will develop their fundamentals, shooting & dodging, draw controls, defense, and more with our talented MC Elite coaching staff and alum! Participants receive free MC Elite swag, balls, magnets, and more!

Lacrosse Leagues
Compete at your own pace when you join adult or youth lacrosse leagues at The St. James. We have competition to suit everyone's needs, from games-only to friendly, recreational play. Prep for the game in our modern locker rooms, then get moving with league play in our climate-controlled field house—ideal for year-round lacrosse leagues.
Girls Fall League
The St. James 2024 Fall Lacrosse League will be played at the Northern Virginia, Montgomery County, and Howard County sites. This league will run from September 14th - October 6th. Teams will have 5 games guaranteed with Championship dependent on bracket play.

PLL Boys Youth Fall Sixes Recreation League
Players can play as one of the eight Premier Lacrosse League Teams in this unique offering developed by the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) hosted at the The St. James.
Following the widely praised PLL Championship series, young lacrosse enthusiasts statewide will join forces to partake in an Olympic-style lacrosse experience, featuring a 6-on-6 game format. In the Sixes league, all players wield short sticks and function as midfielders, maneuvering across the entire field.

Give your athlete access to NCAA-caliber lacrosse training and competition that complements their current youth and high school programs by joining the club lacrosse teams at the St. James. Work with inspiring coaches who excel at preparing the next generation of lacrosse players to play at the college level.
Girls Club Lacrosse Teams
If you are looking for a girls club lacrosse program that provides a competitive experience playing top-level teams and is focused on developing each player, then The St. James Lacrosse is the place to be. With a program that includes both Stars Lacrosse in Northern VA and MC Elite Lacrosse in Montgomery County, MD, The St. James offers year-round lacrosse training and elite tournament competition for girls in Youth, Middle School, and High School across the DMV to play at the highest level.
Also introducing the first year of our Girls Elite Travel Lacrosse Teams for rising 8th and 9th Graders! These teams will consist of players looking for more competition to enhance their schedule and play with athletes from the broader DMV region. TSJ Elite will compete on non-traditional club weekends and is open to players from all clubs.

X-Factor Face Off Lacrosse Clinic
Focuses on teaching the participants the fundamental skills and strategies needed to excel in face-offs (boys) and draw (girls), including hand speed, footwork, body positioning, and stick-work. Players will learn various face-off techniques, as well as counter moved to gain an advantage over opponents. Goal is to enhance the players face-off abilities and gain a competitive edge on the field.

Dynamic Dodging Clinic
Players learn proper techniques for dodging, footwork, change of direction, and deception. Program will teach different type of dodges - face dodge, roll dodge, and split dodge. Goal is to help players develop their dodging skills and increase their confidence in their ability to evade defenders during games.

Defense Dominance Clinic
Focuses on teaching participants proper defense technique, positioning, footwork, and stick checks.
